All sorts of performing arts

Web address:

We are a non-profit community group that professionally trains and gives opportunities to all by engaging social interaction with children & young adults in the community.  This encourages children to explore their talents in the performing arts thus building confidence. We are all fully committed to the active promotion of equal opportunities in the provision of our student’s performing arts educational needs and in the Worcester community.

We were established in March 2014. Since opening the group has had a successful first year.  From performing at several local events, hosting open days and supporting community projects in Worcester and Malvern areas.

We have had two successful productions, Aladdin & George’s Marvellous medicine. We are currently starting to work on our annual pantomime which this year will be Jack and the Beanstalk. Students have gained over 75% in their first Performing arts medals tests.  In addition several students have taken part in various local Worcester Festivals throughout this year and have all achieved a highly commended status. Exciting plans are afoot for the rest of 2015 and in to 2016.

All Sorts give professional guidance & every student a chance to shine and be part of a community family.

We have just provided a four week programme for children, available to anyone, inclusive and enabling the whole community and not just a select group. This has helped by providing affordable child care during the school holidays for some families. The focus is very much on the community and not on making a profit.

How will you use the money?
We require GYM Mats to support our dance gymnastic moves as we are currently very limited in what we can achieve.
We perform two productions a year and struggle with costumes & sound.
Radio Microphones would be a massive support to our live performances and feedback from our audiences has proved that.
London trip – We would like to support our students by giving them the opportunity of a lifetime to Perform on the west end this will give local Worcester children an amazing experience!
